Actress Ruby Dee born Ruby Ann Wallace in Cleveland, Ohio. She appeared in several memorable films including "A Raisin in the Sun" and "Edge of the City" both played ooposite Sidney Poitier. More recent films "Do the Right Thing" and "American Gangster".
