Lydia Cabrera, the Afro-Cuban literary voice

Cuban anthropologist and poet Lydia Cabrera born in Havana, Cuba. She published over 100 books on Santeria and other Afro-Cuban traditions and was considering a leading authority on those subjects until her death in 1991.
