Singer, actress Heather Headley born in Barataria, Trinidad and Tobago. She is popularly known for her hit single "I Wish I Wasn't" for which she earned two Grammy nominations.
She is also an accomplished Broadway actress. In 1997, she played Nala in The Lion King, the Broadway musical. She then followed with the lead role in Aida which earned her the Tony Award for Best Actress in 2000.
