Singer Cornelius Gunter (the Coasters) shot

Cornelius Gunter, the lead vocalist of the Coasters shot to death in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Gunter joined the group in 1957 and sang on such hits as "Poison Ivy", "Yakety Yak", and "Charlie Brown."
