Los Angeles Metro employee Arthur Winston was never late to work and took one day off (for his wef's funeral) in his entire career of 72 years. He was born on this day in Okemie, Oklahoma.

In 1996, President Bill Clinton awarded him with an "Employee of the Century" citation for his work ethic and dedication.

He lived to see his 100 birthday and died less than one month after retirement.
